New Delhi, January 06. Chinese mobile phone and electronic equipment giant Xiaomi has launched three next-generation models of its popular Redmi Note series. Apart from Redmi Note 12 5G, these include Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro Plus. The company has given Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Generation 1 processor in the Redmi Note 12. The MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset has been used in the Pro model.
The Redmi Note 12 series has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with support for a 120 Hz refresh rate. Apart from this, a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz is given. HDR10 Plus and Dolby Vision were supported in the higher model. Gorilla Glass 5 is supported for panel protection.
The Redmi Note 12 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, while the other two models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. All three phones run on MIUI 13 out of the box.
There is a triple camera setup on the back of Redmi Note 12 5G. The primary camera is 48 megapixels and is accompanied by an 8 megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. A 13-megapixel camera is included for selfie.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G has a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel lens. While the primary sensor of 200 megapixels is given in Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus and two more sensors are given with it.
The Redmi Note 12 5G has a 5000mAh battery with 33W charging support. Redmi Note 12 Pro has 67W charging support and Pro Plus has 120W charging support. Jio 5G service is available in this phone.
The price of the Redmi Note 12 has been kept at Rs 15,499. This price is for the 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant, while the price of the Redmi Note 12 Pro will be Rs 20,999 and the high-end Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus module will retail for Rs 25,999.
