Sandhya (name changed) hanged herself to death in her room in the New Ashok Nagar district of East Delhi. The police have not found a suicide note from him. Sandhya’s brother alleged that a young man named Amit Tyagi had been sending obscene photos, videos and messages to his sister on her mobile with the intention of slandering her. When Sandhya heard about this, she got upset and embraced death.
The police have started searching for Amit Tyagi by registering a case of complicity in suicide based on the statement of Sandhya’s brother. Raids are made to look for him. The police investigate the case by questioning Sandhya’s roommate Neha. According to the police, Sandhya lived with her friend Neha in D-Block New Ashok Nagar. After studying until class 12, Sandhya worked in a company in Noida Sector-2. Police sent the dead body to LBS for post-mortem examination.
Youth hanged in Usmanpur
A youth named Hitesh (23) hanged himself on charges of robbery in the New Usmanpur area. The police have recovered a suicide note from Hitesh. In this, he accused his shopkeeper Bahadur Singh and called him responsible for the death. Police have launched an investigation by registering a case of attempted suicide on the suicide note and statement of Hitesh’s mother. Hitesh lived with his family in Gautam Vihar, New Usmanpur. His family has mother Gauri and father Shashidhar. Hitesh’s father remains sick, who is bedridden. His mother teaches children.
Hitesh has been working in Bahadur Singh’s ration shop on the fifth floor for the past year and a half. About ten days ago, he left Bahadur’s house and started working at Mori Gate. Hitesh went to work on May 12. Meanwhile, Bahadur reached his house. He claimed Hitesh stole cash and gold rings and chains from his safe. The victim denied the theft. He did not return home at night. The next day, the family continued to search for him. On May 14, Hitesh’s body was found hanging in the forests of Yamuna Khadar.
