Electric bus (e-bus) service with all modern facilities including mobile charging point, water, tissues, comfortable seats, CCTV cameras has started from Monday. Chief Secretary and Transport Commissioner Ashish Kundra and Green Cell CEO Devendra Chawla marked the Kashmere Gate (ISBT) buses. At present, 50 buses will run daily to Chandigarh, Jaipur and Dehradun. A premium e-bus service will soon be launched for Agra and thereafter for other cities of the country including Lucknow, Amritsar. This is the first interstate e-bus service to depart from Delhi.
