Cross country runner Rupesh Makwana completed his 6,000km race at India Gate on Saturday. For this achievement, his name was entered in the Guinness Book of World Records. Under the auspices of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) sports activities and PEFI (Physical Education Foundation of India), Rupesh embarked on the 6,000-kilometer run from India Gate on February 21, 2023 with the aim of completing it in 99 days.

However, he crossed 13 states of India, completed this race in just 88 days and ended at India Gate Delhi itself. All India Head of ABVP Sports Activity Pradeep Shekhawat, National Secretary of PEFI Piyush Jain etc were present here.
