RRR Tehelka at the Japanese box office, became the highest grossing Indian film


Tokyo, January 11. Director SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster RRR is being talked about all over the world. The film has made all the records in its name by earning a lot at the box office. This film turned out to be a super hit not only in India but also abroad. As of now, RRR is rocking the Japanese box office. Released on 21 October 2022, RRR has become the highest-grossing Indian film. It beat Rajinikanth’s film Muthu.
RRR has crossed the 50 crore yen (approximately Rs. 31 crore) mark in Japan, becoming the first Indian film to achieve this feat. Let us tell you, RRR is based on two pre-independence Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitaram and Komaram Bheem. Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan made cameos in the film. The film, which earned over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide, was released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
