Star player Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals despite a facial injury (cheekbone injury) as his Riyadh XI lost 5-4 to Lionel Messi’s Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) side in an exhibition football match. About half an hour into the game, PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas hit Ronaldo in the face while trying to stop the ball. Ronaldo scored one of the two goals, his first in Saudi Arabia. The Riyadh 11 team consisted of players from Saudi Arabian clubs Al Nasr and Al Hilal. The team was captained by Ronaldo, who recently joined Al Nasser. Messi, Marquinhos, Sergio Ramos, Kylian Mbappe and Hugo Akitike scored for PSG.
