Sanjay Verma, SHO of Delhi Police Station in Chanakyapuri, was called on Monday evening. Vikramjit, Joint Commissioner of Police, New Delhi Range, said the action has been taken due to the failure to complete the files.
A senior New Delhi official said that Sanjay Verma was summoned for talks by a senior New Delhi district official. The SHO did not understand the meaning of the lead agent’s conversation and filed a police report in the case. Angered by this, the chief police officer ordered the chief of the police station to present the line. Dr. Hemant Tiwari, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, New Delhi District, has ordered the presentation of the line.
