Born into a farming family in Saifai of Etawah, Mulayam Singh Yadav entered the political scene by placing bets in the arena. On February 24, 1954, at just 15 years old, he first went to prison in the channel rate movement at the request of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, the pinnacle of socialism. He was elected president of the KK College Students’ Union. After his postgraduate degree in political science from Agra University, he became a spokesman for Inter College. He then resigned and became MLA for the first time in 1967 from Jaswant Nagar, the traditional meeting place of his Guru Chaudhary Natthusingh.

After that, there was no turning back. He made many such decisions in his life that people will remember him even when he is gone. By guiding the interests of backward castes and minorities in his political career, he prepared his solid political foundation.
