Delhi police have been put on alert over opposition party protests at the inauguration of the new parliament building. The safety arrangements for the opening event are the same as January 26 and August 15. All Delhi borders will be sealed from the morning of May 28. No vehicle is allowed to enter Delhi except the essential vehicle.
A top Delhi police officer told that a foolproof plan is being prepared for the security of the program. The police have regular consultations with the officials of the Ministry of the Interior. Police have sought more companies of the paramilitary corps from the Ministry of the Interior. All bordering states have been asked to stop the vehicles in front of Delhi border so that there is no problem like congestion. In addition, people will be called upon to participate in the security system via social media.
Several VVIPs/VIPs and other dignitaries are likely to attend the opening program. Delhi traffic police officials have made adequate arrangements for the smooth flow of traffic. Police have advised people to avoid the New Delhi area if not necessary. However, traffic in New Delhi continues. Due to the inauguration of the Parliament Building, some routes will be affected or heavy traffic from 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

From Mother Teresa Ceresent Road Golchakkar(R/A), Talkatora, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, R/A Gol Dak Khana, Ashoka Road, R/A Patel Chowk, Ashoka Road, R/A Windsor Place, Janpath, R/A MLNP The cordoned area of Akbar Road, R/A Gol Methi, Akbar Road, R/A GKP, Teen Murti Marg, R/A Teen Murti and Mother Teresa Ceresent Road are considered regulated areas. Only civil servant candidates, bona fide residents, labeled vehicles and emergency vehicles are allowed to move within the zone.
