There is no possibility to vote for the post of mayor in Delhi. On Monday, both the BJP and Aam Aadmi party protested fiercely against each other. Both sides accused each other of creating barriers to voting for mayor. BJP demonstrated at the Chief Minister’s residence and was arrested. The party named Kejriwal the chief minister of Tulu Pump and said he is exploiting the people of Delhi for personal gain. The BJP has claimed that the Aam Aadmi party is walking away from the mayoral election due to a division among its councillors. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party protested at BJP headquarters, accusing it of rigging the elections for the position of mayor. Due to the clash between the two parties, the way of voting for the position of mayor is not visible.
The Bharatiya Janata Party, led by incumbent Delhi Pradesh President Virendra Sachdeva, staged a massive demonstration on Monday. More than five thousand BJP workers demonstrated outside the Chief Minister’s residence, accusing the leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party of causing a commotion at the Municipal Corporation House and insulting the constitution.
Virendra Sachdeva said that the incident that took place in the House on January 6 is very embarrassing. It is a pity for the people of Delhi that such a ‘Tulu pump’ has become the chief minister in Delhi who has been exploiting the people of Delhi for the past eight years. He said that Kejriwal will have to apologize to BJP councilors or else this battle will continue. Sachdeva said Kejriwal also knows that his party has split as two mayoral candidates and one deputy mayoral candidate are from his party. Rude action was taken in the House to save that split and defeat.
Kejriwal is wasting government money on himself
BJP MP Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma has alleged that Kejriwal is wasting public money for his personal interests. He said that the Aam Aadmi party first made millions of rupees through booze scams and is now defending itself by bringing in big lawyers with public money. He said the money of the people of Delhi should be spent on its improvement. But here the leaders of the Aam Aadmi party are spending the money of the people of Delhi in their own defense. He called it a new form of corruption.
BJP wants votes from nominated members
At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party also did its best on Monday. The party held a strong demonstration at the BJP headquarters, accusing the BJP of rigging the municipal elections. Aam Aadmi Party leader and MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj said that in order to keep the traditions under control, the BJP wants to rig the election for the post of mayor by making the nominated members take the oath before the elected members elected by the public. It wants to conquer the permanent commissions of the company through them. But the Aam Aadmi Party will not let this happen and this struggle will continue. In view of the mutual conflict between the two parties, the resolution of this case is not visible.
