Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, did not get any relief even at the hearing held on Tuesday in the Delhi Excise Policy case. Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has extended the pre-trial detention of AAP leader Manish Sisodia until June 1.

Manish Sisodia has been imprisoned for some time for alleged corruption in the implementation of the new excise policy in Delhi. In such a situation, this court order is now a disappointment to them. However, to provide relief for him, the court ordered the prison authorities to provide his request for a chair and table for reading and to consider extending pre-trial detention.
