Just before the G-20 meeting in Jammu and Kashmir, the conspiracy of a terrorist attack like 26/11 has been exposed. The five-star hotel that would house G-20 guests in Gulmarg had been conspired by the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI to attack it. Following this revelation, security arrangements for the meeting were tightened and guest programs changed. Now guests don’t go to Gulmarg.
Sources said this revelation was made by Farooq Ahmed Wani, an above-ground associate of the terror group who was arrested in the last week of April. Wani, a resident of Baramulla, was a driver at the said hotel and was in direct contact with ISI. A three-day meeting of the G-20 Tourism Working Group will begin at SKICC in Srinagar from Monday. The attending guests were supposed to be taken to the famous Gulmarg Ski Resort and Dachigama Wildlife Sanctuary, but the tour has now been cancelled.
