A thief entered a house on the fifth floor in the Netaji Subhash Palace area for theft. The landlord woke up after hearing the noise. The thief tried to stop the landlord by showing a screwdriver. But seeing that he was trapped, the thief also jumped on another house. In doing so, he fell down and was seriously injured. The police also reported attempted theft by hospitalizing the suspect.
Vivek Kumar, a technician by trade, told police that around 11:30 pm on Wednesday evening, he closed the door of the stairs in his home and went to sleep in the room. Late at night around 3 am he heard some noise at the door. When I turned on the light, a young man tried to enter the house through the porch.
Upon seeing the victim, the suspect tried to scare him by showing him a screwdriver. But fearing that he would be caught if the victim raised the alarm, the suspect jumped from the iron railing to the terrace of another building. But he could not reach the second terrace and immediately fell into the street. Vivek saw the critical condition of the suspect and informed the police about the incident. Police arrived at the scene and admitted the suspect to Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital. From where he was referred to Safdarjung Hospital. Here it is said that his condition is serious.
