The new Casualty-Emergency and Labor room in the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) block with advanced oxygen facilities became operational at Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital. With the introduction of this service, the pressure on the hospital’s existing delivery room is reduced.

Patients don’t even have to worry about oxygen. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia inaugurated it on Saturday at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. On this occasion, the Director of GTB Hospital Subhash Giri, MLA Rajendra Pal Gautam, Kuldeep etc. were present.

On this occasion, the deputy chief minister said that the government of Delhi is working day and night to provide 24×7 modern health services to the residents of Delhi. Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s priority is that Delhi’s health model should be the best in the world. Continuous efforts are being made in this direction.

He said the new emergency room and labor room in GTB Hospital’s MCH block would immediately provide high-quality emergency care to pregnant women, mothers and children. Besides Delhi, people from nearby towns and cities come to this hospital for treatment.

The deputy chief minister said that conspiracies are being hatched to stop Delhi’s works, but no matter how many conspiracies happen, Kejriwal’s government will never stop the work of education, health and public interest in Delhi. To win the MCD elections, doctors’ salaries were stopped, medical staff’s salaries were stopped, all works were stopped. But I want to make sure that the work must not stop.

A facility of 1500 beds is provided in GTB. The deputy prime minister said the new facility has a PSA capacity of 3,000 LPM and an LMO capacity of 53 kilolitres. This new facility will also facilitate LMO buffer tank 113 KL for state use.

Now with advanced oxygen facilities, the hospital now has a direct medical gas line for 1069 beds. Previously, only 750 beds were directly connected to the medical gas pipeline.
