Five arrested for looting Rs 32 lakh from businessman

New Delhi. The case of theft of Rs 32 lakh from a businessman in the Farsh Bazar area of Shahdara district has been solved by the special staff along with the local police. The police have arrested five suspects for this. The arrested suspects have been identified as Rihan alias Wajid alias Matu (28), resident of Garima Garden, Ghaziabad, Ansar alias Ahad Khan alias Anshu (30), Nizam (27), Rahul Verma (20) and Akash alias Yogesh (resident of Dhanaura , Gajraula, Amroha) 25) as
The police have recovered Rs 9.86 lakh from the suspect, three bicycles used in the crime, a gun, a mobile phone bought with the loot amount and a router from the suspect. The police are looking for his three other accomplices. The police are investigating the case by interrogating the arrested suspect.
Shahdara district deputy police commissioner Rohit Meena said that on January 29, three bike-borne miscreants looted Rs 32 lakh at gunpoint from businessman Mohan Lal Kakkar (51) in Farsh Bazar area. In addition to the local police, after registering the incident, the special staff also launched an investigation into the matter.
After examining more than 100 CCTV footage, the police arrested two suspects Rahul Verma and Akash alias Yogesh, residents of Sonia Vihar, Delhi. During the interrogation, these people confessed that they had a hand in the incident. These people told that many people are involved in this incident. After questioning them both, the police also arrested Nizam, Ansar alias Ahad and Rihan alias Wajid.
At his request, the police recovered Rs 9.86 and other items from the amount looted. During the interrogation, the suspect said that a total of nine people carried out the incident together. These people said that Reiki had been done for 15 days before the robbery. The incident was supposed to be carried out before January 26. But due to the safety features, the incident took place on the 29th. Rihan, along with his two other accomplices, committed the crime.
All the other six miscreants were around him at the time of the incident. After the robbery, it was Rihan who distributed the goods to everyone. Both Akash and Rahul work as Swiggy and Rapido cyclists. Both were riding bicycles at the time of the incident. After questioning the arrested suspect, the police are looking for the rest of the suspect.
