ED raids to avenge apology humiliation: Bhardwaj

New Delhi. The Aam Aadmi party has labeled the ED’s raid on the home of the aides of its Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh as politically motivated. AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj claimed that the ED raided his associates’ homes to avenge the humiliation of Sanjay Singh’s apology. ED knowingly put his name on the charge sheet and when he delivered defamation to ED, ED stated in writing in court that he had wrongly named Sanjay Singh. Sanjay Singh had repeatedly questioned the central government in the Adani case in parliament.
Saurabh Bhardwaj said at a press conference at party headquarters on Wednesday that the way the entire episode of Sanjay Singh came to light, if there was another country or if there was another party government in the central government, it would have was a matter of great disgrace to the common man. Sanjay Singh’s name was on the charge sheet. Sanjay Singh gave legal notice to ED. Shocked by that legal notice, ED’s written response came that we had accidentally mentioned his name, which is very surprising.
