Gangster of Deepak Boxer gang arrested after South Delhi encounter
Special cell had received information about the arrival of the crook, half a dozen cases including murder, attempted murder, extortion have been registered against the crook in Delhi.

New Delhi. Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested sniper Ankit Gulia of Gogi-Deepak Boxer gang after meeting in South Delhi. Ankit was wanted in six counts of murder, attempted murder and extortion in Delhi. He was involved in the murder of builder Amit Gupta in Burari, two gangsters from his rival gang in Mundka, who shot at police in Alipore and shot at a jewelery showroom in Punjabi Bagh for extortion. Police recovered a pistol, three cartridges and a scooty from his possession.
The arrested Ankit Gulia is a resident of Gannaur Sonipat Haryana. In the early hours of February 25, police received information about Ankit’s arrival in the Hauz Khas area. The police team laid siege near the Hauz Khas flyover. When he saw Ankit arrive on a scooty at 5:15 am, the police stopped him. The miscreant pulled out the gun and fired two shots. No one was shot. Police also fired two shots in response and caught the miscreant. The police arrested him after registering a case under the gun law, attempted murder, obstruction of official work. Investigations revealed that Ankit had shot and killed builder Amit Gupta in the Burari area on August 23 last year. Six suspects have been arrested in the case so far. On the same day, Ankit and his associates opened fire on Satish’s office complex in Mundka. In which Mangal and Joginder were killed in the crossfire and another was wounded. The police have arrested four suspects in this case.
Deepak Boxer had claimed on Facebook to have killed the builder
Deepak alias Boxer, the leader of the Gogi gang, had claimed on Facebook that he killed the contractor. He told that he committed the crime because of his enmity with the Tillu gang. The builder was accused of financing the Tillu gang. It was also suspected that the builder had tipped off his gang member Fajja, after which the police killed him upon encounter.
