Faridabad. By order of Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority (FMDA), the special repair works of the road from Sector 15-15A, Ankhir Chowk to Surajkund and Senior Secondary School to ACP office will be started after the rain. The tender procedure for the rehabilitation of 25 kilometers of roads has been completed. At the same time, eight major roads of the city will be built after the monsoon. The officials of the relevant service have identified all these roads. Sudhir Rajpal, CEO of FMDA, discussed the development work at the 11th committee meeting of the Core Planning Cell (CPC) on Friday. He said the quality of the road will not be compromised. In Greater Faridabad, eight roads approximately 12 km in length have been recommended for special repair. At the same time, eight main roads of the city have been identified. It will be prepared after the rains. These roads have been transferred from Haryana Urban Development Authority (HSVP) and Faridabad Municipal Corporation (MCF) to FMDA. CEO Sudhir Rajpal said improving road safety and better mobility in the city is an important agenda of the FMDA. Repair works are underway on several roads in the city and will be completed on time with strict adherence to quality standards. At the same time, FMDA chief engineer Sajjan Singh said that the engineering department team will inspect these roads before the works commence.
Ongoing road repair projects
FMDA is building about 9 miles of roads to help the city function better. Of these, 87/88, 88/89, 86/87 and 80/81 will be repaired. Apart from this, there is a 75-meter road from Sector-29 bridge across Agra Canal to Amrita Hospital in Greater Faridabad. Apart from this, 1.5 km Sector 11/12 Master Dividing Road (Court Road), NH-19 to Labor Chowk, 1.4 km Sector-15/16 division road, YMCA Chowk to Bypass Road, Sector 6/7 , 8 /9 Main road of 1.5 km, main road of 300 meters from Vyapar Mandal to Senior Secondary School is being constructed. While cycle paths, footpaths and roadside drains in sectors 11-12 and 15-16 are being restored.

Faridabad. The newly built indoor stadium in Sector-31 has been completed by the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HSVP). The process of taking over the District Sports Department has started on Haryana Day i.e. November 1st. After this, the sports department has two covered stadiums.
Before that, it was decided to identify and complete the unfinished works in the stadium. After the acquisition, more than five thousand people in half a dozen areas, including Indraprastha Colony, Ashoka Enclave, Sector 29, will benefit. They do not have to come to the Sector 12 Sports Complex after the takeover.
The newly built indoor stadium has been constructed at a cost of around Rs 19 crore. It has been decided to provide all facilities for indoor games. District sports officer Devendra Singh Gulia says there are many other minor shortcomings, including the swimming pool. He is ordered to be removed. Those loopholes have been provided to HSVP officials. It may be known that Smart City is such a neighborhood in the state, where there are two indoor stadiums. After this, competitions at the national and international level are expected to be held.
