Due to the Holi festival, many wholesale markets in Delhi remain closed from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday. Holi becomes a holiday in more than 500 large and small markets. This time there were concerns among the merchants about the date of Holi. But traders do not celebrate the Holi festival until March 8.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Brijesh Goyal told that Kashmere Gate, Chandni Chowk, Chawri Bazar, Naya Bazar, Khari Baoli, Bhagirath Place, Sadar Bazar, Karol Bagh, Mori Gate, Connaught Place, Lajpat Nagar, South Ex, Nehru Place, Kamla Nagar, Rajouri Garden, Rohini, Pitampura, Shahdara, Krishna Nagar, Tilak Nagar etc. more than 500 markets will have a Holi holiday on March 8.

On March 7 itself, there is a holiday in the wholesale markets after noon, as people want to go home early for Holi Dahan.
