In the capital Delhi, under the leadership of Virendra Sachdeva, president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, an awareness-raising campaign was conducted at six major intersections. BJP associates along with Sachdeva, Opposition Leader Ramveer Singh Bidhuri, State Secretary Dinesh Pratap Singh, MLA Abhay Verma, Purvanchal Morcha President Kaushal Mishra, in the Jan Jagran Abhiyan executed at Laxmi Nagar intersection, accused Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal of being the real one mastermind in the liquor scam case and declared that he had demanded his resignation.

Virendra Sachdeva said that today is the second day of Jan Jagran Abhiyan and that with this campaign BJP is trying to convey a special message to the people of Delhi that Arvind Kejriwal, who calls himself staunchly honest and how corrupt his ministers are. He said that Arvind Kejriwal is the mastermind behind the rupee liquor scam in Delhi, which has been exposed by the CBI in its investigative report. Kejriwal’s party had come claiming to want to change the government, it is flying the flag of corruption.

Opposition leader Ramveer Singh Bidhuri said Kejriwal can no longer save himself from corruption of millions of rupees in the drinking scam as Arvind Kejriwal himself chaired the cabinet meeting which approved the drinking scam. He said that the liquor suppliers themselves have accepted that the percentage of the commission raised by the Kejriwal government has been given into Arvind Kejriwal’s pocket. Not only this, the other suspects in jail in the liquor scam have also confirmed that Arvind Kejriwal will have to answer all these questions as Kejriwal is the mastermind behind it.
