Delhi Police had arrested Ravinder Kumar in 2014 on charges of kidnapping, attempted murder and physical abuse of a 6-year-old child. After kidnapping the girl, he threw her into a sewage tank. Subsequently, police detained her near Sukhbir Nagar bus stand in Delhi’s Rohini while investigating the 2015 six-year-old girl’s case. The police first checked information from numerous CCTV cameras, questioned informants and then took Ravinder into custody.

Ravinder Kumar did not spare even the children of his relatives and also committed crimes against them. He also confessed to targeting two children of a relative of his aunt. Not only this, he has shown 15 such places to the police, where he had committed kidnappings, rapes and murders.
