In Seelampur, Delhi, a case of assault of a seven-year-old girl has come to light. On Sunday she had gone to play near her friend’s house where her friend’s uncle took her to the bathroom and harassed her. When the girl began to cry, the uncle gave her money and told her not to tell anyone, but the girl came home and told her grandmother everything. Grandmother reported the matter to the police. Later, after consulting the girl, the 22-year-old accused was arrested after registering a case under sections of molestation and POCSO.

The victim girl lives in New Seelampur. In addition to the father, there are grandmother and other members of the family. On Sunday, the girl went to the house of her friend who lived nearby and started playing. Meanwhile, she found her friend’s uncle. The uncle told him that her boyfriend hid in the bathroom to see him. Uncle took her to the bathroom after talking about introducing her to her friend. When he got there, the uncle locked the latch from the inside and started doing obscene acts with the girl.
