The BJP has alleged that Arvind Kejriwal’s government in Delhi is spying on its leaders. For this purpose, a special unit has been formed under the control of the government, whose officers have been deployed only to spy on BJP leaders. The party cited the abuse of government power for its political gain with public money. The party is also considering demanding a high-level investigation by filing a formal complaint about it.

Since this alleged espionage unit was set up under a ministry headed by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Sisodia may also come under fire for its investigations. That is, after the drinking scam, their problems may also increase in this case.

Virendra Sachdeva, the working president of Delhi BJP, has said that Arvind Kejriwal’s government has been operating with anarchy since its establishment in 2015. Now the evidence has emerged. He said the government acts with ulterior motives towards its political opponents and believes in suppressing them.

He said that the Kejriwal government set up the FBU (Feedback Unit) for this purpose on February 1, 2016. Not only political opponents, trade union ministers, members of parliament, the office of the lieutenant governor, media houses, prominent businessmen, but even judges were monitored.

Sachdeva said that FBU was established only on the basis of approval from his cabinet without administrative and financial approval. In this, 17 police officers and other personnel of Bihar Police were detained. They were led by a retired CISF DIG. This FBU was given a foundation fund of Rs 1 crore and was named the Secret Service Fund.

He asked whom Kejriwal should investigate, for which a secret fund was set up. Millions of dollars were made from this fund to private investigative firms and to set up informants.

questions were asked

Sachdeva said that the Vigilance Department of the Delhi government had raised objections to the establishment of this unit. In response to this objection, Ashwani Kumar, when he became Vigilance Director in September 2016, requested a report on the work of the FBU, but was unable to provide any record of his work. Meanwhile, in August 2015 came the order of the Delhi High Court that the Lieutenant Governor should be supreme in all affairs of Delhi, after which the Kejriwal government had to send the dossier of the establishment of the FBU to the then Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung . He not only rejected the file, objecting to the creation of such a new organization under the Vigilance Department, but also ordered a CBI investigation.

Kejriwal should tell who did the espionage

Sachdeva has said that the government should explain that despite the existence of ACB and Vigilance Department, why the FBU was established for pensioners? What was the goal? If the goal was to keep an eye on political opponents, as is also clear from the CBI report that 60% of its reports were only political, which leaders were being spied on by the government? The CBI investigation revealed that the FBU had provided approximately 700 reports to the Kejriwal government. Tell Kejriwal on which of these reports what action was taken?

Delhi BJP leader Manoj Tiwari said Arvind Kejriwal came to power in the name of serving the public, but after coming to power, he uses the full power of the government only to eliminate his opponents. The agents assigned to work for the public good misuse them to plot against their political opponents.

It is alleged that this special unit was itself established in 2016 under a ministry of Deputy Prime Minister Manish Sisodia. Initially it was said that it would operate as a statutory body. It was said to be part of the government’s feedback system, which aimed to get ground information about the public’s feedback on the government’s actions. But it is alleged that this entire unit was used to spy on some BJP and Congress leaders.

It is said that after this, the unit worked to collect information on about 600 BJP leaders. Information was also collected on some former Congress party MLAs councillors. Its purpose was to oversee the strategy being prepared against the government in the camp of its opponents. It is alleged that because of this, Aam Aadmi Party also put a spell on the Congress leaders who were angry with their party for some reason and then they were contacted and lured to join Aam Aadmi Party.

It is said that an officer of this Special Detective Unit informed senior officers against the unit’s actions, after which the formal form was changed. It is alleged that now government special officers are illegally spying on BJP leaders at his instigation.

What can BJP do

The matter has been brought to the attention of Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, according to the Delhi BJP leader. They may order an investigation into the matter at their own level. If the Lieutenant Governor does not order an investigation into the matter for any reason, the party will file a formal complaint against it.

Aam Aadmi Party has narrated political allegations

While Delhi politics have heated up after this accusation from the BJP, the Aam Aadmi party is calling it an act of revenge. The party has said that 163 cases have been registered against its leaders by various agencies of the central government on behalf of the BJP. But all these cases were overturned by several courts because the agencies found no evidence in any case. You say that this case is also a conspiracy to surround the Delhi government.
