Police sent the body to the nearest hospital for an autopsy. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Initial investigation revealed that the fire was started by a short circuit. In the early hours of Saturday, Roop Nagar Police Station received information about a fire on the first floor of a house near Bank of India in Kamla Nagar. As soon as the information was received, two fire engines arrived on the scene. The fire brigade had the fire under control after a lot of effort.

Meanwhile, the firefighters took Naveen Gupta, who was trapped unconscious in the house, out and took him to Hindu Rao Hospital. Where he died during treatment. During the investigation, the police learned that the deceased Naveen Gupta lived with the family on the first floor of this house. All family members were asleep in the early hours at the time of the incident. Naveen Gupta remained locked in the room. While his son, daughter and wife Ruchi somehow got out safely. A police investigation is underway into this case.

At the same time, a fire was reported in the cylinder in the house in Jahangirpuri area around 11pm on Friday night. Police and fire vehicles arrived at the scene. The fire was under control in no time. Later, the police found that Mohammad Shahid Qureshi, his son Qureshi, Bilal, daughter Samim, daughter Shabnam, Shama and Nazia suffered minor burns after coming under fire. The police say that the leakage of the LPG bottle suddenly started a fire.

Youth sets itself on fire, dies

In Kalyanpuri on Friday evening, a youth doused himself with petrol and set himself on fire. He was admitted to a nearby hospital, from where he was referred to Safdarjung Hospital. The young man died here during treatment. Initial investigations revealed that the woman had left him a year ago due to family discord. He was very upset by this. Police received information on Friday evening that Rahul had set fire to Khichdipur. Eyewitnesses said that Rahul was in Centro. He put something flammable on himself and set himself on fire. An investigation revealed that Rahul was a driver by profession. The woman left him a year ago.
