The Federation of Resident Doctors Association of India (FORDA), expressing its disappointment with the doctors’ ongoing demands, has submitted a charter of ten demands to the Health Minister, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya. These include establishing the Indian medical service modeled on the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), enacting the National Security Act, risk compensation and providing free medical education. Apart from this, creation of permanent posts for doctors instead of contract posts, provision of at least six months on ad hoc posts, change in residency arrangement, provision of uniform allowance for resident doctors, timely NEET Conduct PG exams and set up NEET .
