In connection with the arrest of two associates of Arshdeep, the special cell of the Delhi Police has registered a case against the accused under UAPA. The police have taken both terrorists into custody for 14 days.

Naushad has been a member of the Harkat-ul-Ansar terrorist organization. He has been sentenced to life imprisonment in two counts of murder and 10 years under the Explosives Act. Jagjit Singh is a member of the Bambiha gang of Punjab. He was instructed by terrorist Arshdeep Dalla who was in Canada for anti-national incidents. He would be a special assistant to Arshdeep. He was paroled in a murder case in Uttarakhand.

Arshdeep Dalla is a feared terrorist of the Khalistan Task Force (KTF). The government of India had declared him a terrorist two days ago. Arshdeep went into hiding to Canada in 2017. He has been carrying out anti-national activities from Canada to the country ever since.
