An 11-year-old girl was kidnapped and killed in the Nangloi district of Delhi’s suburbs. On February 9, the innocent went from home to school. About 12 days later, the suspect’s arrest came to light. The police have arrested the suspect Rohit alias Vinod (21). On Tuesday, by order of Rohit, the corpse of the innocent was found in a rotten condition in the ruins of Ghevra village.
Her school bag, water bottle and a game she used to bring to school were found next to the body. Why did the accused kill the innocent? The police are not clear on this at the moment. Sources say the suspect raped the innocent and killed her. The police also do not deny the rape. The police say that only after the autopsy report will it become clear whether the rape took place or not.
On Wednesday, amid strict security arrangements, police carried out the post-mortem at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital. Later, the dead body was also cremated in the presence of the police. On Wednesday, the suspect was taken to court, from which he was placed in pre-trial detention for three days. The police are now questioning the suspect and trying to find out the real reason behind the murder.
