Delhi: Bharat Rang Mahotsav in the capital from tomorrow to stage 33 plays in 13 languages

33 plays in 13 languages ​​will be staged in the Bharat Rang Mahotsav to be held in the capital from February 14 to 23. Bharangam kicks off at 6pm on Tuesday with the Bengali play Jagannath at Kamani Auditorium. Besides Delhi, Bharangam is also held in Jaipur, Rajahmundry, Ranchi, Guwahati, Jammu, Srinagar, Bhopal, Nashik and Kevadia. A total of 80 plays are staged here.

Parliamentary Affairs and Sanskrit Minister Arjun Meghwal will inaugurate Bharat Rang Mahotsav at Kamani Auditorium. Paresh Rawal, president of the National School of Drama (NSD) Society and film actor Padma Shri will preside over the inaugural function. NSD director Professor Dr. Ramesh Chandra Gaur and many other dignitaries will be present.

The play Jagannath directed by Aruna Mukherjee is performed after the opening ceremony. Besides the staging of plays, dialogues and workshops will be organized in the Bharat Rang Mahotsav. In addition, many cultural programs will be organized. Plays are staged at Kamani, LTG, Shriram Kala Kendra in Delhi and on the open stage.

The maximum number of plays will be screened at Kamani Auditorium in Mandi House. Their start time is at seven in the evening.
