There was a lot of commotion on the third day of the Delhi Assembly. The BJP wanted a discussion in the House on the issue of pollution and corruption in the Yamuna, which was rejected by the chairman, while Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia named the lieutenant governor as the head of the clan. At this, the BJP became agitated and claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party is determined to continuously undermine democratic norms and by using derogatory words against the Lieutenant Governor, the Aam Aadmi Party has proven to be anarchic.

The first two days there was also noise outside the house. While the BJP caused a stir by demanding a discussion on corruption and pollution, the Aam Aadmi party attacked the Lt Governor and the BJP calling it unconstitutional to prevent teachers from going abroad for training. Arvind Kejriwal even said that the lieutenant governor has no right to interfere in the functioning of an elected government.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia alleged in the House that democratic standards were not adhered to in appointing nominated councilors to the Municipal Corporation. He said that as a lieutenant governor he can follow the directions of the central government, but that he has gone further and behaved like a clan leader. He claimed that they do not care about any tradition and law and only work on behalf of the Center. He accused the lieutenant governor of behaving like a ‘clan chieftain’, a charge the BJP took issue with.

Invoking the constitution, Aam Aadmi party leader Sisodia said the country is governed according to the constitution, which clearly delineates the functions of the lieutenant governor and those of an elected government. Where the constitution is silent, democratic traditions point the way to the custodian of the constitution. But in the context of Delhi, all these things have been put on hold.

AAP is an anarchist party – BJP

BJP leader Neha Shalini Dua said Aam Aadmi party leader Arvind Kejriwal calls himself an anarchist. Such incidents have happened many times in the past, making the Aam Aadmi Party proved to be chaotic. He said that by not allowing the councilors appointed by the Lieutenant Governor to take the oath in the Municipal Corporation and now by using derogatory words to the Lieutenant Governor, the Aam Aadmi Party has provided evidence that she and her leader Arvind Kejriwal are anarchists. He said Kejriwal should focus on running the government according to democratic standards.

You are involved in corruption – Congress

Congress leader Chaudhary Anil Kumar said bundles of notes were being waved in the Delhi Assembly by an MLA from the Aam Aadmi party. This shows that the leaders of the Aam Aadmi party are fully involved in corruption and bribing for public works is fierce. Something similar had already surfaced during the excise case in which the government neglected the public interest for its own benefit. He said that the Aam Aadmi party has no right to stay in power due to corruption.
