Mehmed Sharif, who described himself as a member of the royal family of the United Arab Emirates, has been arrested by Delhi police. Delhi Police gave information and said that the suspect was arrested on January 19 from Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka. Explain that the accused Mahmed Sharid had defrauded Leela Palace Hotel in New Delhi to the tune of Rs 23.46 lakh.

At the Delhi-based Five Star Hotel Leela Palace, a man stayed at the hotel for several months by telling himself about the royal family, but when it came to paying a huge bill, he fled and saw the opportunity. The Delhi Police took note of the case and were in the process of searching for the suspect. According to the police, the suspect stayed at the five-star Leela Palace hotel for the entire four months.

The accused Mahmed Sharif had described himself as a senior official of the UAE royal family. The accused has an outstanding account of more than 23 lakhs. According to the police, the suspect Mehmed Sharif had checked into the Five Star Hotel on August 1. He stayed in room number 427 of the hotel and fled the hotel on November 20, 2022 when he saw an opportunity.
