Delhi Patiala House Court sent Amritpal Singh alias Ammi and Amrik Singh to NIA custody for 8 days. Will have to remain in NIA custody until May 27. He was arrested under UAPA law. Both suspects were arrested by NIA from IGI Airport on Friday. For your information, we can inform you that two employees of Canada-based Arsh Dalla were caught by the NIA team from Delhi airport. Both had reached Delhi from Manila, Philippines.

Terrorists Amritpal Singh alias Ammi and Amrik Singh were produced before Special Judge Shalaindra Mali at Patiala House Court. The investigating officer told the court that both suspects were arrested from IGI Airport on Friday. He said investigations have shown he has ties to Arsh Dalla of Canada’s Khalistan Commando Force. Both had reached Delhi from Manila, Philippines.

Many criminal cases have been filed against them in Punjab and they have been involved in terrorist activities. By interrogating them, we must find out where they used to keep weapons and money. On August 20 last year, a complaint was filed against the two. Demanded that a 12-day remand be granted for questioning of the accused. However, considering all the facts, the court approved the pre-trial detention of the accused for eight days, i.e. until May 27.
