Delhi: Acid attack on neighbor in brawl after brawl, police investigating



There is news of an alleged acid attack on a neighbor in Delhi’s Uttam Nagar district after an argument. According to the ANI news agency, around 10 p.m. on Saturday night, a young man was walking a dog on the road when he was heard by neighbors and acid attacked.

The person who was attacked has been identified as Rajeshwar, a resident of Uttam Nagar, who is being treated at the trauma center of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The police have taken the suspect into custody.

Police said information was received at Uttam Nagar police station around 10pm that a fight had taken place and acid had been used. According to the Delhi police, the victim’s son was walking his dog on Saturday night, when he reached in front of the suspect’s house, they started assaulting him. After this, the fight broke out and the suspect attacked the father and son with acid. the police is investigating the case

Abhishek Kumar, son of the acid attack victim, said that I had taken my dog ​​for a walk. As soon as I reached in front of my neighbor’s house, they started to abuse me. My father came to the rescue. But the argument escalated to such an extent that one of the defendants threw acid on me that fell on my father. He has head injuries.

After a preliminary investigation, the police say that the medical-legal case (MLC) of the injured person has not yet been prepared. Prima facie it appears that the acid was toilet cleaner. We found a bottle of toilet cleaner in the suspect’s house.
