79.9 percent of parents in Delhi are satisfied with the quality of education in government schools. 90.51 percent of parents believe that good work is being done at the schools. This is according to a study by the Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow into ‘Parental Involvement’ in government schools in Delhi. In addition to the University of Glasgow, researchers from King’s College London and Tilburg University in the Netherlands are also involved in this research.

According to the results of the survey, more than 90 percent of parents believe they are optimistic about their children’s future and believe that this creates a better foundation for their children’s future. The results of the study were shared by the university on Monday during a meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. According to the survey, 90% of parents agree that headmasters of government schools in Delhi take their responsibilities very seriously. About 80% of parents are satisfied with the quality of teachers and school management. 87% of parents said the performance of teachers in Delhi government schools is exceptional.

This discussion was held with 2886 parents from different schools of the Delhi government.
