A 15-year-old minor was stabbed to death late Thursday in the Khyala district of West Delhi in a dispute over hand-baking in a bonfire. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Shahid (15). After the incident, the suspect fled. Police recorded one case of murder and arrested three late at night, including two minors.
The arrested adult suspect has been identified as Sumit alias Patal (20). The police question the suspect and try to recover the knife used in the crime. The police are investigating the case by questioning the suspect.
According to the police, Shahid lived with his family in Raghubir Nagar, Khyala. Besides parents, there are another brother and sister in the family. Shahid’s father is a car driver while he himself was a grade 10 student. He was expelled from school for mischief. It is alleged that all three suspects were burning fires in HMP Park near the house.
Meanwhile, Shahid reached there. According to police sources, Shahid already knew these guys. As soon as he got there, he started asking Sumit to give him a place to dry his hands. When he refused, Shahid started arguing with him. It’s time for a fight.

After the quarrel, Shahid went to his house. But Sumit was determined to teach him a lesson. He went to his house with both underage boys. From there, he took out a knife and reached out to Shahid’s house. Later, Shahid was called out of the house and attacked with a sharp knife.
After the incident, the suspect fled. The family took Shahid to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. After hearing the news, the police came to the scene after registering the case and launched an investigation. Later, the suspects from the Khyala area were arrested themselves. Sumit has been arrested while both 16-year-old minors are in custody.
