Gopal Rai hands over the check

The Delhi government handed over checks worth one crore each to the families of three corona fighters who lost their lives during the corona pandemic. On Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia reached the home of Arun Kumar Rakshit, a health department officer, met the family and presented a check for one crore. Rakshit got infected while helping patients during the Corona pandemic and lost his life.
Environment Minister Gopal Rai handed over a sum of Rs one crore to the family of Corona fighter Babarpur resident teacher Mukesh Pal, while Finance Minister Kailash Gehlot met the family of Corona fighter Rohit and handed over a check for Rs one crore.
During this along with him Madan Lal, MLA of Kasturba Nagar Assembly Constituency and senior officials of Tax Department were also present. Sisodia said that the corona fighters worked with enthusiasm during their service without taking care of their lives during the pandemic and protecting the citizens from this pandemic. He said that the country salutes the sacrifice of these brave Corona fighters.
