A speeding car crushed an innocent child playing outside in the Wazirabad district of North Delhi on Monday morning. After the incident, the suspect fled from the scene and left the car. Immediately, the innocent was taken to the nearest hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The deceased has been identified as one and a half year old Akash. The police have seized the Ertiga car and are looking for the suspected driver. Police are investigating the matter using CCTV cameras installed around the scene.
According to the police, Akash lived with the family in Gali No. 10, Sangam Vihar, Wazirabad, near Dewani Hospital. The family consists of father Sanjit Kumar, mother and other members. Sanjeet does private work. Akash left the house while playing on Monday morning. He played on the road. Meanwhile, Akash was hit hard by a black Ertiga car at around 8:15 am. Akash was seriously injured in the accident.
