Hope is tied to Union budget to improve Delhi-NCR movement. The plan is to bring all forms of public transport, including rail, express train and metro, on one level. Here, one means of transport is connected to the other. Currently, the focus is on connecting train stations to the nearest metro stations. For this, it is suggested to spend Rs 500 crore in the budget. Interestingly, this scheme will also breathe new life into Delhi Ring Rail stations. Better connectivity will increase passenger pressure at these stations.
