In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP battled with the Congress for all seven seats in Delhi. The Congress, which was reduced to nil twice in the Delhi parliamentary elections (in 2015 and 2020), had made a stunning comeback in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, ranking number two in all seats. But apart from this election result, the BJP assumes that its main face in the next Lok Sabha elections will be the Aam Aadmi party. With this in mind, the party has now mapped out a strategy to attack Arvind Kejriwal’s government.
At a two-day executive meeting at the BJP’s Pant Marg office in Delhi, top party leaders told workers how to maintain the Aam Aadmi Party’s gains in the municipal polls, and asked to attack Kejriwal at the ranks. . For this, the failures of the Delhi government must be kept under public scrutiny. In addition, the works of the central government must reach everyone. For this purpose, a WhatsApp group has been formed at every class level under the leadership of Panna Pramukhs to spread the information about the activities of the central government among the people.
A BJP leader who attended the meeting told Amar Ujala that the party believes it cannot compete with the Congress in the next Lok Sabha, but with the Aam Aadmi Party. The main reason for this is that this time Congress will not have the charismatic and magnetic face of Sheila Dixit, which it had benefited from during the 2019 election.
Party leaders believe that a large number of Muslim voters defected from the Aam Aadmi party to the Congress during the municipal elections. The Congress hopes to make a comeback in Delhi with the help of its core vote bank, but BJP leaders believe that when it comes to which candidate or party is able to defeat the BJP, Muslim voters will return to the Aam Aadmi -side . This allows the Aam Aadmi party to become strong again in the match.
not a worker, task leader
Baijayant Panda, the leader of the Delhi BJP, addressed the workers and said that the public’s voices come less because of the workers and more because of the works done for the benefit of the public. Therefore, the workers should spread the information about the works of the central government to as many people as possible.
Employees must reach every voter
Virendra Sachdeva, working president of Delhi BJP, has said that the workers should reach out to every constituent of Delhi. Taking into account the words of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party workers should reach every voter of every community, every class. Whether they vote for BJP or not.
For this, a special campaign will be launched to reach every voter in every district of Delhi. He said that our goal is not just to win all seven seats in Delhi, but we will work to increase the profit margin. The BJP had unilaterally won all seats in Delhi last time by collecting more than half of the vote.
Last session at the Ambedkar International Center
The Delhi BJP manager’s final session will be held on Saturday, January 28 at the Ambedkar International Center in the capital. Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur will address the workers at the opening session and National Secretary General Sunil Bansal at the closing session.
