राहुल गांधी

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is present at Bharat Jodo Yatra. The yatra, which started from Kanyakumari on September 7, reached Ambala and passed through 52 districts of 10 states. The yatra has covered a distance of more than three thousand kilometers. Rahul also has the support of several opposition parties. In such a situation, the question arises whether Rahul will be accepted as the leader of the opposition after this visit, and which parties have supported this visit by Rahul so far? Let’s understand…

Who received opposition support?

Support for Rahul’s visit started from within Tamil Nadu itself. Here, the ruling DMK leader and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin Stalin has praised the Congress and Rahul Gandhi many times. Stalin says that the Bharat Jodo Yatra has revived the people. Rahul Gandhi opposes the policy of spreading communal hatred. This quality makes him an antidote to the narrow-minded politics of the BJP. Congress is on the path of revival. It has not lost its relevance at national level. Sonia Gandhi’s efforts to strengthen the organizational structure of the Congress are starting to bear fruit.

Rahul Gandhi has also gained the support of great leaders like Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray faction from Maharashtra, NCP, Mehbooba Mufti from PDP from Jammu and Kashmir, Farooq Abdullah from National Conference. Aditya Thackeray of the Uddhav faction, NCP MP Supriya Sule and National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah participated in the yatra.

Only Peace Party in UP has supported Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. Party chairman Dr. Yakub asked to join the yatra. At the same time, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav initially denied receiving the letter of invitation to the yatra, but later, when he received the letter from Rahul Gandhi, he congratulated him on the yatra. However, he did not join the yatra.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar said Rahul Gandhi can bring all opposition parties together at the national level. Rahul has shown that he is willing to work hard. People’s attitude towards Rahul Gandhi has changed. They will help build consensus between the opposition parties in the future.
