Police officials said that information was received at Bawana police station at 10:06 am on January 6 about a woman burned in the fire. Sandeep said that the in-laws who live in Bawana Sector 2 burned his sister Khushboo. Once the information was received, the police reached Ambedkar Hospital. Where the injured Khushboo was found, admitted. Khushboo said she sat in front of the fire with her husband and a boy to beat the cold.

In addition, the boy put thinner in the fire to intensify it. Both perished in the fire. Police videotaped the injured woman’s statement. Later, the woman was referred to Safdarjung Hospital. A large part of the body including his mouth, hands is burned. She is also seven months pregnant. Her husband Veer Pratap’s hands and legs are also burned and he is being treated at Safdarjung Hospital. Khushbu’s brother Sandeep has accused her in-laws of torturing and burning her. He said that Khushbu had married Veer Pratap last August. The police informed Narela SDM about the incident.
