A proposal has been sent to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena to replace Ashish More and make AK Singh the Services Secretary. Citing the Supreme Court, the government said that the lieutenant governor is obliged to follow the advice of the elected government.

The Delhi government has sent a proposal to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena to replace Services Minister Ashish More and give the post to AK Singh. According to sources, a meeting of the Board of Directors was held on Wednesday. In this, the officials expressed no disagreement about the removal of the service secretary.

Following this, the Delhi government has sent a proposal to make AK Singh the new service secretary to the Lieutenant Governor. Citing the Supreme Court, the government said that the lieutenant governor is obliged to follow the advice of the elected government. The Delhi government has tried several times to remove the services secretary. Following the Supreme Court order, the Services Minister, Saurabh Bhardwaj, had ordered the removal of the current Services Secretary. But they didn’t move.
